This quote means that many of us have so much access to clean water that we don’t often think about what life would be like without it. Most of us take clean water for granted, not realizing how hard life would be if it wasn’t available. Without clean water, we would not be able to drink, bathe, cook, clean, or water our gardens and crops. We would be at risk of becoming dehydrated, developing water-borne diseases, and facing food shortages. For many of us, clean water is so available and abundant that we don’t think about what life would be like without it.
