The water cycle is the process by which water moves through the environment on Earth. Water evaporates from the ocean, lakes, and rivers and moves through the air as water vapor. The water vapor forms clouds and precipitates back down to the earth as rain or snow. This water cycle helps to keep the earth’s water in balance. The life cycle is the process by which living things produce and reproduce their own kind. In other words, life cycles explain how things grow, develop, reproduce and die. Water is essential for life; we need it to survive and live. Without water, life would not exist or be able to reproduce. This quote suggests that the water cycle and life cycle are linked and that without water, there would be no life.
